Dishwashers

• Contrary to what your salesman told you, your dishwasher is NOT A GARBURATOR. Always rinse or scrape food particles off dishes before you put them in the dishwasher.
• If your dishwasher is not cleaning properly, check the jets in the spray arm for any blockage. Most spray arms come off quite easily for cleaning.
• Only use approved dishwasher soap in your unit.
• Make sure your cutlery basket does not have holes in it. If a piece of cutlery falls through the basket it will stop the spray arm from rotating and your dishes will not clean properly.
• Use Glisten once every six months to thoroughly clean the pump, water system and tank of your dishwasher.
• Even though some new dishwashers have a delay feature, we normally advise our customers to never leave an operating dishwasher unattended.
