Ranges
- If your range has an electronic timer that is displaying an error code such as, F1 or F4, unplug the range for three minutes and then reconnect it. If the error code returns call our service department for further assistance.
- If your oven temperature is not as accurate as it once was, check the oven door to make sure it is closing properly.
- Never use tin foil under the surface elements as it can get caught in the element receptacle and short out the heat switch. You can use the heavier aluminum disposable pans that are available at most grocery stores.
- Placing tin foil under bake elements will shorten the life of the element.
- If two elements on the same side are not heating but the pilot light comes on, one fuse may be burnt out, replace both fuses with new ones.
- If your oven will not heat, first check the clock to make sure it is not set to automatic, then replace both fuses with new ones. If it still will not heat up call our service department for assistance.
