Washers
- To minimize vibration and off balanced loads, make sure the washer is on a level surface and the front legs are adjusted properly.
- The rear legs on most washers are self leveling. To adjust them, using caution, tilt the washer about 6 inches towards you and let it drop back to it?s original position.
- For washers that are left in unheated cottages, pour some plumbers antifreeze into the tub to prevent the pump from freezing and cracking.
- If your washer stops as it is entering the rinse cycle, check to ensure that the cold-water tap is turned on. Most washer use cold water only for rinsing. If your machine has a warm rinse option and the cold-water tap is off you will only get a hot rinse.
